At the 49th Annual Conference and AGM of the Nigerian Society of Haematology and Blood Transfusion (NSHBT) held in Jos, Plateau State, three senior officials of the National Blood Service Agency (NBSA) were elected into key leadership roles.
Prof. Saleh Yuguda, NBSA Director General, became Vice President; Dr. Aliyu Waziri, Head of NBSA Operations Centre Abuja, was elected Assistant General Secretary; and Dr. Bassey O. Bassey, State Director of NBSA Calabar Centre, was named Treasurer.
